Building Availability

The Unitarian-Universalist Fellowship is available for community meetings, social activities and special events.  The building, at 108 School Street (at the corner of Pleasant Street) is close to parking lots and on-street parking, has air conditioning in summer, and can be used flexibly.

The Fellowship invites inquiries from:

  • Non-profit organizations holding meetings of interest to the general public;
  • Private groups needing a meeting or social space; and
  • Non-profit or private groups that wish to rent the space for public meetings at which attendance will be charged.

Building Capacity

The large meeting room at the Meetinghouse is approximately 40 by 50 feet.  It has flexible seating for at least 70 people and more can be accommodated with additional chairs.  Up to 70 people can be seated at tables at one time.  Meeting rooms are fully carpeted.

Kitchen facilities

A convenient kitchen has coffee makers, a home-style range, refrigerator and dishwasher. While not designed for cooking large meals on site, it is a perfect catering kitchen or can be used to prepare simple meals.

Access

The Meetinghouse is generally accessible to persons with physical disabilities.  The building entrance is at ground level and a large (unisex) restroom is large enough for wheelchair access.  A podium has a built in amplifications system for use with a microphone or with other devices.

Making reservations

Organizations interested in using the Meetinghouse should provide specific details, including the date needed, times and purposes of the meeting either to info@uubennington.org or by leaving a message at 440-9816.  A member of the Fellowship will respond to your inquiry.
